Although I live in England, my roots are in the Provençal hills where I often return to see my family and reconnect with my roots. Naturally, I wanted to open the doors to “my Provence” for you.
My cooking, my influences
As you can see, I spent all my childhood immersed in Provençal culture and culinary traditions. My favourite place was always the kitchen – whether at my grandmothers’, my aunt’s, or at home. They passed everything down to me, even their little notebooks filled with delicate notes and cooking secrets.
Wherever possible, I try to work with family or very local produce. My brother Marc started his business selling produce direct from the farm. Le Petit Paysan is now more than 10 years ago, a testament to hard work and a love of the land. All the fruits and vegetables on your plates will come directly from the farm.
Similarly, the Cheese is produced on the farm by my cousin Manon and my Father’s Olive oil from the local Baux Valley. I also have organic beef and flowers nearby. A little corner of paradise at your fingertips.
Growing up in the countryside I particularly like cooking over a wood fire, I perfected myself in Asado, a South American cuisine that allows you to cook slowly over a wood fire which gives an exceptional taste to food. I therefore propose to share my new passion with you for any event.
