Le Petit Cabanon in the Alpilles – at Simone’s

If you’d like to stay longer, you can book a stay with Simone, my mother, in her cottage among the olive trees.

Located in the heart of an olive grove in Provence, this beautiful traditional Provençal farmhouse is an ideal and peaceful holiday destination.

The Space

Ideally located one hour from Marseille, Nîmes, and Montpellier airports, and 45 minutes from Avignon TGV, you’ll find the picturesque village of Maussane-les-Alpilles.

This peaceful country house is just a short drive from popular nearby towns like Arles, St-Rémy-de-Provence, and Les Baux-de-Provence.

The house comfortably sleeps 8 guests in 4 ensuite bedrooms. It is spacious, with many traditional features such as an open fireplace in the living room and exposed beams throughout.

Outside, there is a large covered terrace, a recently renovated pool, and a beautiful garden. The house sits on an active family farm with a long history of growing fresh seasonal produce. These can be purchased from the family shop just off the main road – true farm-to-table!

We also host our pop-up restaurant “Mangez Local” at the farm.

Guest access

Guests will have full private access to the entire house, pool & garden. There is ample parking for several vehicles.

In the event of any issues, the owners live on the land in independent accommodation which does not overlook the property.

Due to the risk of fires, it is strictly forbidden to use the BBQ anywhere other than the terrace.
